Account health: the limits to stay inside
| Metric | Amazon's target |
|---|---|
| Order defect rate | Under 1% |
| Pre-fulfillment cancel rate | Under 2.5% (orders you ship) |
| Late shipment rate | Under 4% (orders you ship) |
| Valid tracking rate | Over 95% (orders you ship) |
FBA orders count toward the order defect rate but Amazon handles their shipping metrics. Check Account Health weekly: a policy warning ignored for a few weeks can put the account at risk.
The weekly loop
- Account Health: anything flagged, answer it first.
- Business Reports: sales and sessions by product against last week. Which reports.
- Campaign Manager: the search term report, spend with no orders, terms to promote. The weekly PPC audit.
- Brand Analytics: Search Query Performance for your main searches. How to read it.
- Inventory: days of stock against the time a shipment takes to arrive.
- Payments: what Amazon actually paid, against your costs. Profit margin.
Each stop is a different page, export and date window, which is why the loop takes hours by hand. The product reads all six through Amazon's APIs and hands you the week's plan.
What Seller Central costs
The Professional selling plan is $39.99 a month and is needed for advertising, Brand Registry tools and most reports; the Individual plan charges $0.99 per item instead. Selling fees come on top. Every Amazon seller fee.
