  • How many backlinks should I grow each month without risking being penalized by Google for growing my backlinks too quickly? View More

We've seen some sites growing 10000 backlinks per months without problems. The key however is growing the number of referring IPs, not just the number of backlinks. Very popular blog sites can organically grow their number of links quickly, yet they don't face a penalty. This is because if you have a very popular blog, your backlinks can grow rapidly and organically since people will want to link back to your page. The pattern will show the growth in referring backlink IPs as well as the number of backlinks. Since it doesn't make any sense for Google to penalize a very popular site or a blog for gaining backlinks rapidly, our technique allows us to replicate that more natural, organic pattern of growth. However if you are concerned about being penalized by Google for growing backlinks too fast for a typical business website, we recommend limiting growth to under 2000 per month.

Are these backlinks permanent? View More

Yes, they are. Unlike some companies which rent out backlinks for a paid and finite period of time {a practice which can get you penalized by Google}, these backlinks are created using White Hat techniques. They have about 95% or higher stick rate over time.

  • How long does it take before the major search engines take notice of the backlinks? View More

Expect the backlinks to begin having an effect in about 30 to 60 days. In order for Google and other search engines to recognize all the backlinks pointing to your site, they must index all the pages in the world, and that can take some time.

    What is pagerank? View More

Pagerank is sometimes called PR value. It is an authority number given by Google to a site which starts at zero and goes up to ten. Originally, pagerank was purely awarded based on how many backlinks your site received, but the formula has changed over time. If your site has fairly good amount of content and has a decent number of backlinks, pagerank goes up over time naturally.

Does it help you rank if you start to receive backlinks from high PR {pagerank} sites? View More

It can, but it is actually better to receive backlinks from a wide range of IPs for ranking purpose. We have noticed some patterns which indicate a site's PR value can go up faster than average once you receive backlinks from other high PR sites, but that's not always the case.  We've seen plenty of lower PR sites which rank better than high PR sites.

What are the most important factors in ranking? View More

Google, Yahoo and Bing have different criteria for ranking. We've done tons of experiments with various ranking factor combinations and we were able to come up with a good understanding of what each search engine is looking for. Here are the ranking factors for each search engine. They are listed in the order of importance. Google: 1} backlinks - especially the number of referring IPs; {70%} 2} meta tag optimization - 10%; 3} site content - 10%; 4} other factors such as age of the domain, site structure, pagerank, etc. {10%} Yahoo and Bing: 1} backlinks - especially the number of referring IPs {50%} 2} meta tag optimization - 20% 3} site content - 20% 4} other factors such as age of the domain, site structure, etc. {10%} I know, I know. Some of you will challenge this data by saying content outweighs all others but from what we've seen, that's not the case and here is why. You only have 10 spots available on the first page of Google and there are literally millions of pages competing for the same spot. Because creating content is a lot easier than creating backlinks, Google and other search engines will use this metric as the order of importance. Just remember that original formula for pagerank created by Google was 100% based on the number of backlinks and nothing else. It was the summation of all the PR values from contributing backlinks.
